Today we piled the kids’ bikes into the back of the car and nipped down to Ballyloughan Beach to try them out on the mini-promenade down there.  The promenadey-bit has a footpath right next to the cycle path going along the length of the beach.

We decided to visit Coole Park this afternoon, it is just out side Gort (off the main road), it’s well signposted.
We brought a picnic, and arrived at Coole Park to find the tea rooms were closed but toilets (in a separate building were open). We headed over to the Walled Garden to eat our picnic. [...]
